That's the last I wrote on this back in October.........ready to take Dan (main character) into his hell that is also mine.......LET'S GO!!!!

Back to the madness....

Here we are back at the madness and craziness that is this screenplay....I have a love hate relationship with this thing.....but I feel I have a better chance at getting this 'out there' somehow more than my light hearted romp through fairy tale land..

I mean, I still want to complete that, but when something is this big and consumes most of your life thinking about the actual subject manner, why not go with it.....so I'm getting ready to Disappear once more into theat liquid dream state that this story takes place in...with new material....

So put on the headphones, put the baby monitor on (I write while she naps / sleeps....I am a DAD first) and put on some haunting dark music.....let's get this thing done once and for all and get these demons outta me.......

back to it

Life...it gets in the way sometimes....esp. writing.
So...got back on board with writing today! Couple pages done....making progress and getting closer to a another dark part....

Weird scene and yet reminds me of.....

Wrote a scene tonight that did not play oit at all like I thought it would......
The weird thing is it reminds me so much of the black hallway that Bill Pullman's character walked into from David Lynch's  LOST HIGHWAY.....and that's weird because I have not watched  nor thought of that movie in years.....yet there it is......

I'm not going to change it however because it is kind of cool and creepy!

Whew!

What a week......

Managed to get some writing done the past 2 days BUT a major change might happen half way through this...so who says treatments and outlines are the only map to follow when writing screenplays!  Had to go back a re-write a few things add some stuff delete some stuff and now I'm sitting on a few other ideas at the moment....

All in all I am pleased with how this is turning out...it does hava a life of its own however!!!

New scene

Writing for a little tonight...
Since this thing is being written out of order...what a mess....I am writing a very early scene tonight...ahould be easy, but sometimes those easy scenes are the toughest for me....

And as always...another idea came to be today....back to my favorite roots of Asian Mythology and putting a spin on a classic Shapkespere tale thats been done to death, but with an asian twist.....
